This autoimmune disease affects 3% of the population. Anyone hearing the before-and-after story of this administrator, a graduate of the "Federico Rivero Palacios Technological Institute," might make a joke about his doctor's last name: Mago=magician.
As Reyes confirms, the improvement was almost magical. Mago, in her office at the "Vista Alegre Clinic" in Caracas, uses the most modern treatments for psoriasis: injectable biological therapy, available free of charge to patients with the most severe form of the disease and provided by the High-Cost Pharmacy of the Venezuelan Institute of Social Security (IVSS).
“Our quality of life has increased 1,000%," he asserts.
