As a designer, you never know when inspiration will strike. Sometimes, ideas spark instantly, but other times, they can take hours or days to develop. When we are inspired, we produce our best work. Inspiration assists us with brainstorming, mapping out new ideas and bringing these new ideas to life. Inspiration assists us with keeping our creativity alive!

Getting new ideas every day is challenging
When this happens, it’s useful to step away from the project for a moment and look at others’ work to find inspiration. Here’s a short list or selection of my favourite websites as sources of inspiration with the best compositions combining typography, graphic elements, and page layout techniques. Start exploring them!
1. Dribbble
This site is a self-promotion and social networking platform for digital designers and creatives. It serves as a design portfolio platform, a jobs and recruiting site and is one of the largest platforms for designers to share their work online.

7. Visuelle
This site is an online resource showcasing some of the best international design and creative work daily. Its popularity has grown since David Bennett - an experienced creative director with a demonstrated history of working in the design industry - started it in 2007, and has gained a rather large following on Instagram.

Let's get offline for fresh air
If you consider that the ideas are not flowing, it might be a good time to step away from the computer and look elsewhere for inspiration (e.g. printed magazines, books, museums, art galleries, libraries, parks, wildlife, walks, etc.). Inspiration can come from anywhere; don’t get discouraged.
